EcoTeq is proud to have partnered with Clover Imaging Group (CIG), a world-class remanufacturer with some of the largest and most technically advanced manufacturing facilities in the industry. With manufacturing facilities worldwide in Mexico, Asia and Europe, each CIG facility has the unyielding objective of producing products that meet or exceed OEM page yield, performance, and quality. While many remanufacturers are willing to sacrifice quality for cost – CIG does not. Each CIG facility operates under extreme efficiency with streamlined manufacturing processes that enable the production of superior quality products while still maintaining value for money.

At the core of this superior manufacturing, ability is robotics and automation. This investment means that every product is consistent with the quality of an OEM product. This substantial investment has produced the following benefits:
- Increased accuracy, consistency, and efficiency
- Repeatability of high-precision processes
- Elimination of variability in processes with a dramatic effect on quality
- Built-in process versatility to support a nimble manufacturing environment
- Improved testing accuracy
- Reduced time to market new products
- 100% post testing of every cartridge
This has resulted in a product that performs as well as and may even exceed that of an original (OEM), but at a substantial cost benefit.
The importance of R&D and the value it adds to the finished product cannot be underestimated. Investments in R&D during many years has resulted in the development of the most sophisticated manufacturing environment in the imaging industry with a relentless commitment to producing imaging supplies of an unmatched quality and performance. In-house engineering has ensured that our products meet or exceed OEM specifications.
With 38 patented manufacturing processes, stringent attention is placed in the following areas;
- Secondary cleaning system
- Cartridge separation
- Ultrasonic welding Technology
- Doctor blade gapping & positioning technology
- Robotic alignment process
…and much more!
THE ONLY MANUFACTURER IN THE INDUSTRY YOU CAN REALLY TRUST
Due to R&D and the sizeable infrastructure investments, EcoTeq together with our strategic partner guarantee that our products and customers are protected from potential litigation. The entire R&D and Engineering team are dedicated to ensuring that OEM patents are not infringed upon and that every product produced is IP-cleared.
Resellers are fully indemnified against any OEM litigation.
As a company we fully indemnify our resellers / partners against infringement or patent transgressing.
EcoTeq sees this as an opportunity for legitimate remanufacturers who invest to grow and excel in an environment fraught with challenge and change.
Just as important is the differentiation between suppliers of aftermarket products who genuinely care and respect the industry and their customers and those who do not. The increasingly aggressive defence by the OEMs of their intellectual property rights has not just been confined to remanufacturers or producers but also the resellers of patent infringing cartridges. If those resellers have chosen to buy from remanufacturers producing illegal product there is no protection from potential litigation. This legal pursuit by the OEMs has been gathering real momentum in recent years and is only expected to intensify.

Clover Imaging Group (CIG) has key certifications and partnerships that demonstrate an ongoing commitment to quality and environmental responsibility. Clover works with these organisations on an ongoing basis to continually improve and evaluate their environmental and quality goals. By adhering to these best practices and quality standards, CIG continues to be an industry leader in the remanufacturing of printer cartridges.
This allows EcoTeq to bring you the Dataproducts range which is fully compliant and certified. Globally, Dataproducts is one of the highest certified products available.

ISO/IEC 19752 is an ISO standard method for the determination of toner cartridge yield for monochrome laser devices.

ISO/IEC 19798 is an ISO standard method for the determination of toner cartridge yield for colour laser devices.
Toners used by Clover in our Laser cartridges do not contain detectable amount of any substance at nanoscale, without being strongly adhered to the toner mixture as defined in the French enforcement Decree no. 2012-232 of 17-February, 2012.
Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment Directive.
Its objective promotes the re-use, recycling and other forms of recovery of waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE) in order to reduce the waste quantity disposed of and to improve the environmental performance of the economic operators involved in the treatment of WEEE. This is done by setting collection criteria, treatment and recovery of waste electrical and electronic equipment. The Directive is a recast of Directive 2002/96/EC.
The WEEE Directive has been revised under what is commonly called WEEE2. The implementation of WEEE2 and the timeline for incorporation of toner and inkjet cartridges vary by territory within Europe. Clover Environmental Solutions has taken the necessary steps in both our UK and German based processing and handling facilities to meet the licensing, shipping and reporting requirements necessary to manage used cartridge collection.
The purpose of REACH is to improve the protection of human health and the environment through a better identification of the inherent properties of chemical substances at an early stage.
Restriction of certain hazardous substances.

ISO 9000:2000 is a family of standards and guidelines for quality in the manufacturing and service industries from the International Organization for Standardization (ISO).
ISO 9001:2015 is the most comprehensive level of the ISO 9000:2000 series, covering everything from design and development through production and distribution of products and services. The overall objective is to establish a system to improve product quality and reliability.
ISO 14001:2004 and ISO 14001:2015 are the international specifications for an environmental management system (EMS). They specify requirements for establishing an environmental policy, determining environmental aspects and impacts of products/activities/services, planning environmental objectives and measurable targets, implementation and operation of programs to meet objectives and targets, checking and corrective action and management review.
ISO 50001:2011, Energy management systems – Requirements with guidance for use, is a voluntary International Standard developed by ISO (International Organization for Standardization).
The purpose of this International Standard is to enable organisations to establish the systems and processes necessary to improve energy performance, including energy efficiency, use, and consumption. Implementation of this standard is intended to lead to reductions in greenhouse gas emissions, energy cost, and other related environmental impacts, through systematic management of energy.

OHSAS 18001:2007 is the international specification for an Occupational Health & Safety management system (OH&S). It specifies requirements for establishing a health and safety policy, determining risks and hazards of products/activities/services, planning objectives and measurable targets, implementation and operation of programs to meet objectives and targets, with continual improvement through corrective action and management review.

STMC stands for the Standardized Test Methods Committee. The International Imaging Technology Council (Int’l ITC) administers the STMC program, assures its proper usage and polices against misuse of the STMC program and logos. For more than a decade, the STMC symbol has been the remanufacturing industry’s indicia of quality. The test methods are used to evaluate toner printer cartridge performance. STMC uses certain ASTM test methods to evaluate a finished cartridge in comparison to another cartridge, typically an OEM cartridge.

Numerous Clover toner cartridges, by operating at particularly low emissions, have attained the label “TÜV toxproof”. The application of these cartridges minimises the health risk for the user, making them consumer-friendly. The German testing institute TÜV Rheinland GmbH grants this certificate after a series of tests regarding the content of harmful substances in the toner powder and Emission testing in specific test chambers during printing. With such certified products, you can have peace of mind that you are using safe products.

CHAS (Contractors Health and Safety Assessment Scheme) is a significant scheme promoting the benefits of effective Health and Safety within industries and business.
The purpose of CHAS certification is to assist buyers as well as suppliers in the process of health and safety competence assessment.

The Swan eco label is an Eco labelling standard common to the entire Nordic region set up by the Nordic council of ministers in 1989. It is a non-profit making organisation. The purpose of the Swan standard is to reduce waste and assure quality. The simple message associated with having the Swan logo is that the product in question is a good environmental choice.
The two standards DIN 33870-1 (Monochrome printing devices) and DIN 33870-2 (4-color printing devices) define the quality requirements for the remanufacturing process of toner modules and appropriate test methods. An important part – and basic criteria for the Blue Angel environmental label – are the requirements to consider the health-related properties of the toner according to the legal provisions to prevent any health hazards. Defined specifications for the labelling on the toner cartridge, on the packaging and on the internet ensure a greater transparency.
